Ranking of Airports with the Best Food

by 낡고 이른 2025. 8. 1.

One of the most important aspects of traveling abroad is food.

Experiencing the cuisine of another country can easily be said to make up the majority of any trip.

So what about meals at the airport—the place where your journey begins and ends? It’s easy to assume airport food is just overpriced and unremarkable, but there are some airports known for their surprisingly good dining options.

Incheon International Airport in South Korea is one of them.

Every year, Skytrax, which evaluates global airport service quality, announces rankings based on votes from airport users worldwide. In the 2024 category of "Best Airport Dining Experience," the top spots were as follows:

1st place went to Istanbul Airport, which took the top spot for the second consecutive year thanks to its wide selection and high quality, ranging from traditional Turkish dishes to global cuisine.

2nd place was Singapore Changi Airport, famous for offering world-class restaurants, food courts, and popular local street foods within the airport.

3rd place went to Incheon International Airport, praised for its diverse offerings such as Korean food halls, well-known franchises, and affordable food courts serving a variety of Korean and international dishes.

In July 2023, travel service company Radical Storage also ranked airports based on reviews, number of restaurants, and menu diversity. In that list, Incheon Airport took first place.

With over 270 restaurants and an average meal price of just $8.18, affordability is a key strength. Popular eateries at Incheon Airport include Gayop Sikdang (Korean cuisine), Pho Bay (Vietnamese noodles), and Dongnamjip (soupy dishes).
